Go-Carting

We bought Lauer a go-cart. (????) He loves playing on it
and as soon as you start it he sits right down to go for a few
laps around the yard (slowly, of course). Jase was taking both
of the boys around. Lauer would sit and look at the scenery while
Dalton preferred to steer their course. Both little guys (and big guys)
love it. Heck even Val and I took a spin on it and had a blast. We're
all having our second childhoods through these 2 little boys. Just
wait till Val's little girl comes in September! I dare say she'll be just
as spoiled.

Naya & Slush

Naya took a liking to lauer's stuffed Husky
dog named "Slush". First she just would
carry him around in her mouth, then she
chewed off an ear, then the other ear, and here
she was chewing on his snoot. Poor Slush doesn't
have much stuffing left in his nose now. :(

I think Jase and I are having as much fun with Lauer's
basketball hoop as he is. We've played several games of
"pig and horse" so far. Lauer likes to watch us run around.

Since Lauer went to his cousin Matthew's birthday party
and got to play with Matthew's trucks we had to get him a
couple. He gets on the floor and scoots them around and
makes engine noises. Matthew must have taught him.

He's already got good form!

Since I soooo don't want to be one of those poor
hockey mom's freezing her butt off at 7am on a
Saturday morning at the ice rink, I am really
pushing basketball! We taught him to "dunk" and
now everything gets dunked. His bottle, trucks,
books, you name it it goes in the hoop.

Bridgefest 2010

Watching the duckies in the Ducky Derby

Lauer and I at Bridgefest. We went for the Red Cross'
"Ducky Derby" We bought Lauer a 6 "quack" of ducks to
race and one of his ducks was a winner and he won a giftcard
to Arby's. They had all kinds of prizes and he got to taste his
first funnel cake (loved it), he also liked to watch the waterski
show that was going on. His favorite though, there was a helicopter
giving rides up and down the canal so it kept going by and landing
and taking off. He loved it! He just kept watching it go. We had
a good time. Then we took him to Perkins for dinner and he got his
first crayons and placemat. He thought he was Hot Stuff!
