Eating ketchup with a fork

We gave Lauer a couple fries, or "guins" as
he calls them and he would lick off the ketchup
then eat ketchup with a fork and then he ate the
"guins". Jase is a ketchup fanatic too.

First time out playing in the snow

Lauer's had a little cold and he will NOT let us put on boots
so we haven't taken him in the snow until last night. He still
wouldn't let me put boots on but didn't fuss over the snow
pants or the mittens. We'll try boots again in a day or so.
Hopefully now that he's been out and likes it he'll be more
willing to put boots on so he can go out.

Everything is a toy!

Lauer took the bottom rack out of our dishwasher and
was wheeling it around like a truck.

The tantrum of "Dooby-Doo"

We managed (with great difficulty) to get Lauer
into his Scooby costume. He was sooo not loving
it! He had a full on tantrum...tears, runny nose, etc.
This video above is after about 5-6 minutes and his
tantrum is wearing down! We were trying to tell him
it was like wearing a sweatshirt, as you'll see, he wasn't
buying it. In the end Twizzlers saved the day and by the
end of the evening we could barely get the costume off of
him. We went to several friends houses and he was having
a blast seeing all the other kids in their costumes Next year
if the weather is nice we'll put him in his stroller and hit a
few more houses. Overall he made a darn good haul and
had a great time. Me, Jason, my parents, Aunt Terri, and
Ju-Ju were all there for the tantrum so that is who is talking
and laughing during the video. :) Sorry it's sideways but you'll
get the jist of it!

A Twizzler in each hand...

makes the costume bearable.

Scooby Doo and Tucker

We stopped at Auntie Kim and Tucker's house. Boy did she
ever spoil Lauer (and mommy and daddy) They gave Lauer
4 wonderful books, chocolate covered pretzel rods, ghost
marshmallows, candy sticks with treats, you name it it was
in his "goodie" bag. Auntie Kim always spoils Lauer, she's a
great Auntie!

Flash Back

Feeling a little nostalgic today so I thought I'd post a couple
of the very first pictures of our little lover. These are from
the first time Jason saw and held our little sweetheart.

a little tree...like me!

Posted by Picasa

Lauer's tree

My dad had some excavating work done and
in the middle of it all one little tree got left. So
he marked it with flags to save it and Lauer keeps
going to it and saying "tree". So we'll keep it
growing, it's almost as tall as he is. We figure
every year we'll take a picture of him next to it.
