Rubber ducky

I put Lauer in the tub and put the ducky on
his tummy. He tried to put his fists in his mouth
and it pulled the ducky up to it instead.

Lauer and Val's picture

My mom found this baby picture of Val and we
couldn't believe how much it looks like Lauer.
Even more than my baby pics.

Liking the bebe pod chair

Lauer can almost sit up in the chair.
He'll flop forward once in a while.

Saffy looking all GQ

My Gramps at Allan birthday
party lookin' all handsome. :)
I couldn't resist taking this picture.
He looked so GQ posed with his leg
up on the chair; even though I know
it was because
his back was
sore.

Big Al's 30!

We went to my cousin Allan's 30th
birthday party on Sunday! He's just
about as thrilled about being 30 as I
was. Which is
not! The cake
was great though!
(Carrot with cream
cheese frosting)mmmm

GUILTY!!!!!

Look how guilty her little face looks!!
And there's cushion foam at her paws.

The culprit!

Finally we've identified the culprit!!! Whenever
we'd leave "someone" would chew up furniture...
ie. 2 couches, 3 dog beds, a mattress, and the chair
pictured below. We never were sure if it was Bodey
or Naya. Well today we now know! Bodey was outside
the whole time this happened and look at her mouth,
there's cushion in it!!! Luckily this chair is going in the
garbage this weekend anyway, we bought a daybed
and are putting their "dog-bed" which is really a twin
mattress on it (we duct-taped the edges to avoid the
dogs chewing this mattress) so no more soft stuff to chew.
We're just tired of our furniture looking all beat up like
stuff you'd see in a frat house. :)

WOOOO-HOOOOO!!!!!!!

Lauer is "officially" sleeping through the night!
We figured we'd give it 2 weeks before we called
it official. He's been sleeping straight through
now anywhere from 8 to 12 hours!! We are really
loving that--especially me. Everyone knows how
I looovve to sleep. He's up by 8:30am every
morning and goes down between 8-9:30 at night.
A big ol' "Thank you Jesus" for this one! :)
Hopefully I didn't jinx us now!

Well hello Mr. Puppy

The puppy is a neck supporter that we bought
and use on top of his boppy to support his neck
since he doesn't like to lay back but can't quite
support his head for too long just yet.

Happy baby=Happy Mommy & Daddy

We brought Lauer to a reflexologist on
Thursday to check him over since he was
in the breech "V" position for over 3 months
while I was pregnant and they also say that
C-sections are traumatic to baby's neck
tendons and muscles. So Maria worked on
him for almost 45 minutes and he just loved it.
He didn't fuss or cry barely at all, and you could
just see his muscles relaxing and his whole body
just realigning. He was actually cooing at points.
He even was
sweating at one
point from his muscles
releasing. Sure enough
she said some of his neck
muscles and his hip muscles
were out of whack and she showed
us stuff to do. She also said all
the "hicking" noises he makes is
probably from his diaphragm being
compressed in that position and did
some things to try and get it to expand
more.
What a difference we see in him from
just 1 visit!!!! He's waay more relaxed
and not as fussy (he's not really fussy anyway).
He's just overall happier too. I was sort of skeptical
at first but now I am a believer!!
After he was done Maria did me and ever since my
flare up started 8 weeks ago both my feet have been numb, even as she was working on
me they were. Well within like an hour of my appt. with her the numbness has almost
completely gone away and hasn't returned in one foot at all and it's been like that almost
2 whole days now. I don't know if it's just a coincidence or not but I'll take it!! Needless
to say both Lauer and I have follow up appointments with her!
