1st time in the pool

We took Lauer in the pool for the very first time. He wasn't too sure at first but got used to it really quick. He stayed in with Julie and I for over 1/2 an hour and did he ever sleep well! He went to bed at 8pm and still wasn't up when I left for work 12 hours later. We're going swimming every night now!!! His cousin Dalton is a pro at swimming so Lauer needs to catch up if they are going to go to the olympics together in 2028! (see Val's Blog) All Mommies dream big for their boys! Maybe Felicia's Bobby can join them! We just need one more boy and we've got ourselves a cousin relay team!

1st time in the pool and it wasn't a disaster. He was
iffy at first but then stayed in with me over 1/2 an hour
just kicking and relaxing.

I was trying to fold some laundry so I put Lauer
in our bed to keep him occupied until I was done.
He thought he was hot stuff!

We got done feeding Lauer his cereal and
when we took the highchair tray off this is
what we found. His top button popped open
and his zipper started undoing! Don't tell
me I need to put my 5 1/2 month old in 12
month shorts already!!!! At least he looks
happy and full!!

Jason and I got to get dressed up to go to a friends
wedding. "Auntie" Julie babysit and we had a
wonderful time! Thanks Jules!!!!!

First tooth

Lauer cut his first tooth about 2 weeks ago and it's
starting to pop up now where we can see it. We
call him "Fang"

First time in his highchair

Mister Mister was sooo proud of himself and felt like such a big boy the first time I put him in his new highchair. He just laughed and squealed with delight! Either that or he was just laughing at me making a fool of myself to get him to smile. Bear with me through the sickening mommy tirade....him laughing and squealing is worth listening to me egg him on! I just love his laugh, it's my favorite sound in the world!!!

Our guy is growing up too fast!!! On
Wednesday we discovered that he cut
his first tooth!! It's his bottom right,
then he's eating cereal (sort of eating it)
and our big boy spent his first night away
to Gramma and Grampa Boyer's last night.
We missed him tons but wow was it nice
to sleep past 8! They want him again tonight
but I don't know if I can make it 2 nights in
a row, even if they do just live within shouting
distance. We'll see. I did actually get to watch an
entire movie from start to finish last night and did
get laundry done too. This weekend sleepover thing
might just be the ticket!!! :)
