As you can see I cried the moment I laid eyes on his perfect little face.

3 am during one of my insomnia breaks
this morning. How he can sleep like that
I'll never know! Naya is just such a snuggler,
hopefully she won't mind having to share her
daddy with the baby.

Last day of work

Yesterday was my last day of
work at the hospital until June!!
I got in and the girls had all kinds of
signs and decorations up and the cutest
cake with little feet on it that I'd ever seen!!
There are even little footprints around the
edges.
All the signs said, "Good Luck Momma
Rota and Baby Ferg" and I had one patient
ask me what our baby's name "Ferg" was short for.
I guess we didn't think that people who don't know us
would think that we are naming our baby "Ferg", and
not realize it's our nickname for Jase and since we didn't
tell anyone the baby's name everyone just calls him "Baby
Ferg" or "LJ" for Little Jason.
It really meant so much to me that everyone made such a big fuss over our baby and made me realize how
lucky I am to have such great and caring friends at work who I love so much. ~(still pregnant and emotional) :)

Crib

Here is the crib that
my mom and dad bought
us for our baby shower. We
picked out this particular one
in this color to match the dresser
and cradle that my dad had made
me when I was a little girl.

too!!

Cradle

My dad made Val and I each a "dolly" cradle one year for Christmas.
It is big enough to put a real baby in but we decided to use it to put his
stuffed animals in. It also matches the dresser he made us that we
are using as our changing table. Notice the cute little ducky on the head
of the right side. Mine had a ducky, Vals had a little lamb.

Dalton Robert Snyder
he came into the world on Friday
February 27th at 7lbs 11 oz and
21" long. Isn't he beautiful!!!
This is my favorite picture of him
so far. He looks like a little ticked
off elf in that hat! I love it and just
cannot wait to get to meet him. I so
wish that I could have been there. :(
Val and Trav and doing great and just
looooove being parents. I can't wait to
get our boys together when they come up
in May. My mom will be in heaven!!

Changing area

This is our changing table area.
My dad made Val and I each a dresser
when we were little and so I decided to
use mine as the baby's changing table.
~Perfect for not having to bend over with
a sore back! We also matched our crib (which
my mom and dad bought us for our baby shower)
and our rocker to match the dresser.
~Note the "fake" baby on the table :)

"Practice" baby

I bought this doll to teach
Jason how to change diapers on
and to practice putting in the carseat
and swing, etc. He did pretty good for
never having had ever tried to change
a diaper before. Of course I don't think
our little guy will be quite as still and quiet.

Bodey-Bear is back!!

Our Boogie is back home
after "bootcamp" and is
doing really well. The whole
vibe of our house is more
relaxed now that he doesn't feel
like he's always competing for
the "alpha" dog spot.
We are so happy to have our
fur level back up to 5!
